After graduating from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Oliver Clinton Young began working as a cinematographer in the Los Angeles area.
Oliver had spent most of his childhood on the Disney lot in Burbank where his father worked in production, and at A Noise Within in Glendale where his mother performed Shakespeare and Chekhov.
Working his way up from Gaffer and Key Grip to cinematographer has given Oliver a vast knowledge of different lighting styles, methods, and equipment. This unique skillset and versatility aids him in creating deeply textured images and allows him to execute a director’s vision with ease.
Having learned his way around a camera at a young age, Oliver honed his skills as a cinematographer through a variety of genres and mediums. While his specialty is certainly Horror, he continues to produce equally terrific images in Comedy, Drama, and more.
